How to Lay ASYA İZOYÜN Insulation Brick?
August 4, 2022First of all, while the wall is being built, the first brick is placed at the intersection point of the two walls (perpendicular) with the prepared adhesive, ready mortar, etc. by levelling the ground on which the wall will be built. Less mortar should be used for insulating bricks compared to other bricks. The mortar prepared with less density is applied on the edges of the brick so that it does not reach the centre of the brick. Preferably, if necessary, a very small amount of adhesive, ready mortar, etc. can be applied on the edge of the point where the lock system is located.
It is not possible to make a mistake in the bricks placed later due to the lock structure of the first fixed brick. When placing the second row of bricks, the starting half brick is placed and the wall is built in a staggered manner.
With the locked structure and high compressive strength of the developed brick system, it can be built vertically or horizontally according to the area of use. For example, for a masonry building (load-bearing wall), vertical laying has to be preferred, while for interior and non-bearing walls it can be laid horizontally upon request.
Insulated brick (IZOYÜN) is knitted with very little mortar material with its locked structure, and since it is compressed from the top and side parts of the wall, the lock structure is interlocked and the wall becomes monolithic. In this case, the knitted wall becomes more robust and durable. Heat and sound conduction is weakened, so an excellent insulation is provided.
One of the biggest reasons why insulated brick (IZOYÜN) products are preferred is that the sheathing material is flammable and threatens human health due to the toxic gas it creates when it burns. At the same time, the sheathing material begins to disappear from the point where it takes air over time and completely loses its insulation properties.
Another point to be considered is that plaster material should not be used directly after the wall is built. It is preferably recommended to apply rough plaster. The main reason why rough plaster is recommended is that the heat and sound conductivity is lower. The plaster material is then preferably applied to the surface where rough plaster is applied and then it is finished with the paint process according to the request.
