The use of brick and tile is as old as the formation of human beings.
We can say that the first brick or tile production facility is perhaps the first house built by humans. These houses were built with dried clay tablets, especially in the settlement areas located on the river banks and deltas, with a simple production mechanism created next to the houses to be built. Unfortunately, it is not possible to give a starting date on this issue.
Unbaked clay tablets found in excavations on the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in the Mesopotamian region indicate the 13th century BC.
